For my needs, this design is a dual purpose. I had previously built a wall in my kitchen to keep the cats out of boiling pots of water. Since I did not have or need a kitchen table, i had room for some storage and a crafting table, however, i did want some sort of breakfast bar. Additionally, I had 2 nice bar stools that were just taking up extra space. This solution provides me with a crafting table, solder station that can also be used as an eating area.
